The Lead Front End AI Developer will evaluate, develop, modify, code, and test software programs to support internal Daikin Applied programming needs as well as provide support to applications users throughout Daikin Applied. Under limited supervision you will analyze, test, and debug applications as well as document, evaluate and make modifications to existing programs or formulate logic for new programs. Location: Plymouth, MN - Hybrid What you will do: Lead the development and maintenance of our design system, ensuring consistency across all digital products Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to translate design concepts into re-usable UI components Architect front-end solutions with a focus on performance, accessibility, and cross browser compatibility Review code submissions and establish coding standards and best practices Bridge the gap between design and development by contributing to design documentation Evaluate new frameworks and approaches for organizational adoption What’s in it for you: Medical/Dental/Vision coverage, PTO, 401K match, support for community involvement and much more The ability to make an impact and shape your career with a company that is passionate about growth The support of an organization that believes it is vital to include and engage diverse people, perspectives, and ideas to achieve our best Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related area of study or equivalent experience 6+ years of professional experience in front-end development 3+ years of experience with design systems (implementation, maintenance, creation) Expert knowledge of modern JS, HTML, and CSS concepts Strong understanding of responsive design and web accessibility standards Customer-focused mindset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Work visa sponsorship is not available for this position Preferred Qualifications: Master’s Degree 8+ years’ experience in application and software development Proficiency with Agile plus Azure DevOps or other ALM systems Self-motivated and ability to work independently Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance 401K retirement plan with employer contributions matching 100% of the first 3% of employee contributions and 50% on the next 2% of employee contributions Company provided life insurance + optional employee paid voluntary life insurance, dependent life coverage and voluntary accident coverage Short term and long-term disability 3 weeks of paid time off for new employees + 11 company paid holidays Vacation accrues on a monthly basis, unless applicable federal, state and local law requires a faster accrual Paid sick time in accordance of the federal, state and local law Paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement after 6 months of continuous service The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $100,800 - $171,700 (+ 15% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
